The series of informative talks with Thomas Friedman were screened in two interactive sessions for the students of MBA – IB, IVth Sem from 9.30 am-10.30 am on 2^nd & 3^rd April 2021.

The first talk was recorded on 13^th May 2005 at the premises of Google Inc. and took after the book ‘The world is Flat’ authored by Thomas Friedman, Foreign Affairs Columnist with The New York Times.   The focal point of this interaction was ‘Competition; Connection; Collaboration in the years to come’. Mr. Friedman also highlighted the importance of the ten flatteners of the globalized world.

The second talk was recorded in 2019, at the studio of McKinsey & Co., fourteen years after the concept of ‘Flat World’ was introduced.  In this talk, Mr. Friedman highlighted the fast pace, depth and outreach of the businesses due to connectivity and complex intertwining of the world economies.
