CO 139: Acquaint with various   exchange control regulations concerning imports and methods of import finance.

CO 140: Gain understanding about various export promotion measures available from government, RBI etc.

Meaning, Procedure of Pre shipment Finance, Deferred Payment Exports, Buyers credit , EXIM banks Buyers credit scheme, Suppliers credit, Turnkey projects, Joint ventures abroad

Post Shipment Finance:

Meaning, Procedure of Post shipment Finance, GR form, permissible deductions, irregular documents, direct and indirect bills, exports on consignment documentation, overdue bills, re import of unsold goods, lost shipment

Import finance:

Exchange control regulations concerning imports, methods of import finance- under letter of credit, against bills under collection, imports against deferred payment, under foreign credit, import loans by EXIM bank of India.

Export promotion Incentives:

Export Promotion measures.Role of Government- cash assistance, duty drawback. RBI- Duty drawback Credit Schemes- Pre-shipment, Export Bills Credit Scheme.EXIM bank-Long term Finance Guarantees, Refinancing of Export Credits.Export Promotion Institutions- Export Promotion Council, Commodity Boards.
