Objective: 

Objective:
The course has been designed to impart the knowledge of the various documents involved in export as well as import business.
Learning Outcomes:
• To provide an overview of export assistance in India.
• To familiarize students with the export procedure.
• To impart the knowledge of excise clearance and quality inspection.
• To familiarize students with the process of pre and post shipment finance.
• To appraise students with the import procedure documentation.

Excise Clearance & Quality Inspection: Excise Clearance for Exportable Goods, Procedure for Central Excise Central for Exportable Goods, Quality Control and Pre-Shipment Inspection, Method of Quality Control and Pre-shipment, Inspection, Procedure for Pre-Shipment Inspection

Marine Insurance: Meaning & Scope, Procedure for Obtaining Policy, Procedure for filing Marine Insurance  

Shipment & Post Shipment Formalities: Role of Clearing & Forwarding Agents, Shipments and Customs Formalities, India Custom EDI System, Advantage of Indian Customs EDI system, Procedure for Realisation of Export Proceeds, Realization of Export Incentives

Import Procedure: Pre–Import Procedure, Legal Dimension, Retirements of Import Documents, Custom Clearance for Imported Goods, Warehousing, Exchange Control Provisions for Imports.
