On completion of this course, the students will be able to: CO 181: Understand the existing trends in startup development. CO 182: Demonstrate intellectual abilities to evaluate concept of leadership and venture establishment. CO 183: Demonstrate analytical skills to examine existing business ideas and models. CO 184: Acquire the knowledge of new techniques for scaling up the start-up. CO 185: Identify important aspects related to website handling and export documentation to be used in businesses. CO 186: Understand various tools for making startup visible in market. |

Work Outline:
Student will have to enroll/ participate in training and workshop programs/ achievement in competitions of national and international repute/ presenting in seminars/ exhibitions or subject relevant to innovation and entrepreneurship, start- up skill building and venture development etc.’ To obtain 4 credits the students have to do any one of the above activities.
The detailed plan of activities for practical learning will be prepared and given to the student before semester IV commences.

Exporting, licensing, franchising, contract manufacturing, Joint venture, strategic alliance, merger and acquisition. (Visit/participation in trade fair or exhibitions).
Levels, International product life cycle (IPLC), process of new product development (Visit to export manufacturing unit)
Visual merchandising and retail store design: methods of display, merchandising software, retail store design-exterior, interior, types of layout. (Visit to brand stores & malls)
